It is evident that supporting pupils who struggle with reading and writing is a big focus for many schools – more so now than ever before. It is essential that we fine-tune our provision to ensure all pupils make great progress and no child is left behind.
This half day is suitable for teachers, Teaching Assistants, SENDCos and English Subject Leaders who wish to disseminate this information back in school. This course will:
- Explore ways to scaffold literacy effectively to ensure pupils who struggle in English make good progress.
- Examine the concept of neurodiversity and include strategies to support pupils with dyslexia.
Cost: £85 (+VAT) per teacher. Second delegate from the same school may attend for free.
